Rena Li is a senior at Cal Poly Pomona studying Civil Engineering with a Geospatial Option. She currently interns with the Irvine Ranch Water District in the engineering department and has worked with the City of Santa Ana, CIP Department, as an intern. During her internship, Rena has assisted with projects, including street design, treatment system, mapping process, plan check, as well as creating schematics using ArcGIS. In addition, the geospatial courses and senior project have developed her surveying skills using technology and software, such as MicroStation, Civil 3D, Total Station, Trimble, Virtual Surveyor, Context Capture, etc. She is hoping to get an entry-level job and become a dual license engineer and pass her EIT and LSIT exams.
